The CEOs of Saher (UK) and Rinicom presented the new counter-UAV training course in Zagreb, Croatia to members of the local police force. The specialised training programme provided information about the current threat scenarios facing airports, prisons, and secure and critical infrastructure installations in regards to drone disruptions. The programme also included updates and insights into the latest developments in counter-drone technologies, which included showcases from a number of suppliers including ST Electronics’ SkyArcher platform and the Airfence RF counter-UAV system from Sensofusion.
The course has been developed together with industry leading drone and law enforcement experts and covers topics such as the current threat landscape, counter-UAV technologies, legal and regulatory powers, counter measures, risk assessment, and strategic response.
