Today we welcomed Cat Smith MP to Rinicom for a visit to our Lancaster headquarters.
During the visit, Cat met with our leadership team and engineers to learn more about the work we do delivering secure, resilient communications and safety technologies for critical environments. We shared insights into our involvement in nationally significant infrastructure projects, including the London Underground Piccadilly Line Deep Tube Upgrade Programme, as well as our innovation in areas such as AI-powered safety systems, counter-UAV technology and digital communications for complex environments like tunnels and mines.
We also had a constructive discussion about the opportunities and challenges facing UK technology SMEs, particularly around access to public sector and infrastructure procurement and the importance of ensuring innovative businesses can continue to contribute to critical national projects.
Thank you to Cat for taking the time to visit and for the open and engaging conversation. We look forward to continuing the dialogue on how UK innovation can be better supported and scaled.
