Rinicom and the Inter-IoT partners successfully completed the European Commission review and demonstration at the IoT-EPI event in Athens, Greece, September 2017! The review involved a full day presentation of the project where the commission expressed its support for the work done and offered helpful advice for the remainder of the project.
Additionally, the team successfully completed demonstrations of multiple project components including the device/gateway level, networking level, middleware level, semantics level and INTER-Framework components of the project. Rinicom’s key contribution of the PRIME-IoT gateway based on the INTER-IoT gateway architecture greatly contributed to the successful demonstration of the lower levels of INTER-IoT. It is also the first product to enter the market as a result of the project. The project has now completed the 18-month review and activities for the final 18 months are well underway.
