Rinicom’s latest Electro Optical sensor, the Dark Eye 2, during integration testing before the KSK Symposium in Germany in cooperation with BSS Holland. The Dark Eye 2 builds on Dark Eye 1’s success with an enhanced day camera performance delivering magnification of X20 at 4K resolution whilst enjoying gyro stabilisation over 2 axis.
When matched with a suitable 4K screen this delivers class leading surveillance capabilities at extreme ranges. The embedded Thermal Image camera (standard) is not subject to ITAR legislation and is capable of detecting human activity, in all weather day or night, over 1000m distance.
